ANGA Zanzibar is a ground-plus-six apartment block on Paje's main road by Zanzibar-registered LZDM Ltd, designed by Lucas Oteyza, with more than 1,000 m² of ground-floor commercial space, two rooftop pools and a mandatory managed rental programme (The Citizen, 8 Sep 2025; angazanzibar.com). The developer's FAQ says construction began in November 2025 with completion targeted for Q3 2027 and 82 apartments, while its second site and 2025 press give 72 duplexes and Q2 2027. Its construction log records foundations complete in March 2026 and second-floor structure in progress in September 2026. The advertised 14 to 16% return is a developer projection.

Buying as a foreigner

Per the developer FAQ: LZDM Ltd is registered with ZIPA as an approved project developer; buyers receive 99-year renewable leasehold title deeds with individual unit titles under the Condominium Act; purchases of $100,000 or more are marketed as qualifying for a Zanzibar residence permit (optional, about $1,000, covering spouse and up to four children). Payment: $3,000 reservation, 8% on the reservation agreement, 17% within 30 days, 30% at half structure, 35% at structural completion, 10% at handover. Owners who let must join the ANGA Management Program.
