Burj Zanzibar is a hybrid-timber residential tower planned by CPS Africa for Fumba Town, with a Canopy by Hilton hotel on its lower floors signed with Hilton on 1 December 2023 (162 rooms, opening expected 2027). The developer says more than half of the 136 apartments were sold by November 2025, with groundbreaking expected at the start of 2026 and completion targeted for 2028 (fumba.town, 4 Nov 2025). As of 31 October 2026 no source reports that groundbreaking has taken place; the developer's own March to May 2026 newspaper still calls it the planned tower. Earlier coverage gave 266 residences and a 2026 completion.

Not published for this project. CPS's other Fumba Town projects publish a 99-year leasehold for purchases of $100,000 or more; whether the same terms apply to the Burj is unconfirmed.
